Two in-making pontil cracks, each about 3/4" in length extend from either side of the pontil, a common occurrence on bottles having as deep a kick-up as this bottle has. Its brilliant green, highly whittled glass and form makes it one of the most eye appealing bottles in the auction. Frederick Brown owned a drug and chemical store at the northeast corner of 5th and Chestnut Streets in Philadelphia. He was best known for his F. Browns Essence of Jamaica Ginger.
