“Washington” / Bust of Washington – “Baltimore Glass Works” / Monument Historical Flask, Baltimore Glass Works, Baltimore, MD, 1830 – 1845. Pale aquamarine, sheared mouth – blowpipe pontil scar, Pt, perfect. GI-19. Scarce. A clean, bright, sparkling, virtually pristine example with very bold embossing. This mold typically has a weak impression. The impression on this example is about as strong, and as nice, as you could hope to find! Fred Swiechowicz collection.
