Very rare possibly unique example of a salesman sample from Gimbles of Philadelphia. In 35 years we have never seen another. A prime example in excellent shape. This was dug over 15 years ago and came out almost like is was made yesterday.

Now heres a very unusual example of art in a bottle. The paintings had to be very difficult to paint from outside down the long neck of the bottle by the artist. Very rare!

| Lot 10. Early Witchball 6.5" D. Aquamarine with colored chalk decoration, open ended pontil. American 19th C. Very unusual witchball with colored chalk decoration inside. Witchballs were hung in the homes and livestock areas to protect from evil spirits. The decoration is lightly applied to the interior of the glass but not filled. This would be a gorgeous ball hanging from a chain. Very rare!

| Lot 14. Blackglass Seal Bottle 10.8"H. Olive green coloration, applied lip, applied glass seal, pontil base.
America or England 19th C. Very rare blackglass seal bottle with "Lord Henniker 1810". This was the man that Hennniker NH was named after. We cannot find this seal listed and consider this a very important black glass bottle. There is a tiny hairline on the side of the bottle but all this one needs is a washing out with soap and water.
