Paint has a little roughness that is caused by the unevenness of the tin. Hands and key have some oxidation. Key tag has a patent sticker on the back. The box is missing all of the top flaps. The bottom main flap is missing a small corner and is barely attached. There are three small holes in the box. One is on one of the blue illustrated panels, the other two are on one of the side panels. Very rare box in any condition……………………G/VG-C8

The box comes with the insert which has several small tears. Box bottom has a corner tear. The box top is missing parts on two side panels at one corner. Both panels are about 75% complete. Advances with mystery action as the inner celluloid dome with tin space ships and a planet spins while the illuminated satellite inside the dome circles in the opposite direction. Dome has several minor scuffs. Plastic discs are complete. The one with the red center has two small edge cracks. Car has some light edge wear and some scattered spidering on the blue sections. Nomura..O/B (top only)..13"L tin BO. Circa 1955. Advances with mystery action as the dome turns, the two yellow dishes rotate, light flashes and the engine pistons move. The disc windshield lights are not working. Both discs have a few minor scuffs and one has a very minor chip on the edge and a chip where it attaches to the post. The battery box door has one tab broken off. Comes with the box top only. There is a strip across the center of all the front and both long side panels with tape residue and a couple of small spots of missing paper litho. One long side panel has two small missing sections on the top and bottom corners. Nice example of the toy……………………VG-C9
Nomura..13"L tin BO. Circa 1955. Advances with mystery action as Robby turns, his dome lights(not working) and the red/green disc lights blink. Robby's dome has stress cracks on the front near the tab and a couple on the top. The discs have a little minor scuffing. Robby himself is an odd color-almost a tan rather than gold. The bar on the top that holds the red lens is the usual gold color. Comes with a reproduction box……………………C8/9
Masudaya..15"H tin BO. Circa 1963. Rarest member of the "Gang of 5", Machine Man advances with bump n' go action as his eyes, ears and mouth light. This example shows wear and spidering on the litho'd body panels, the arms and the head. Many of the solid red surfaces have overpaint/re-paint. Machine Man set a record in 1997 bringing $74,000. The Machine Man from the Matt Wyse auction in 1996 brought $42,000. The example sold in the F.H. Griffith auction in 2000 brought $38,000. It is estimated that there are about 15 known examples of this robot in collections worldwide. As per Mr. Lesser this is the first Machine Man to be brought back to North America. He advances, when his target is hit he turns and flees as his eyes and ears flash, his mouth illuminates with a sound wave image and he makes a loud roaring sound. The robot then turns back and attacks again. Nice color and condition with light wear. Chrome arm caps have some oxidation. Box comes with the insert. Buddy L..O/B..21"L pressed steel. Circa 1933. Totally original example of the robot truck introduced in 1933 at the Chicago World's Fair. More than likely the first robot image that appeared on a toy. The cab decals show the robot driver. The original AC transformer in included. It controls the steering, direction, and the dump bed functions. Untested. The truck has a few small paint chips but overall is in very nice condition. The robot decals have some very minor edge chipping and are 99% complete. The original box and insert are rough with tears, paper loss and stains……………………P-C8/9

Houston Post-Dispatch..Sunday March 30, 1930. This is a copy of the first Buck Rogers Sunday comic strip. The Sunday strip initially followed the adventures of Buck's friend Buddy Deering, who was also Wilma Deering's brother. It was some time before Buck appeared in the Sunday strip. The sheet has a vertical tear on the top edge that is about 3" long plus a couple of other smaller tears and some light surface wear. The page has darkened with age but is still very displayable.
